Parisian Weekend!!!

 Parisian Weekend!!!

I was in Paris last weekend for the first time, with three of my friends and colleagues. One of them, from France, which was great; having our own translator, granted we didn't need a lot of translations, just the odd things from cafes and restaurants. The trip to Paris had been highly anticipated. with all the prior notions about Paris;  the quintessential romantic city, their food, fashion, and the romantic  personas of French men , it was a little difficult not to have any expectation- something I have learnt not to do when anticipating anything in order not to get disappointed but instead be open for surprises. Anyway back to what Paris had to offer. There were so many cool things to do and see, three days was just not enough but we still got around doing some pretty awesome things. we did a lot of walking and queuing, we walked along Avenue des Champs-Elysees and checked out a few of the shops, Arc de Triomphe, in a mass at the Cathedral Notre-Dame on Sunday before climbing up its stairs to the very top for a beautiful view of the Paris skyline, visited the Louvre, Pantheon and la Tour Eiffel among others.  Dinned out at a very nice restaurant at Chatelet, I don’t remember the name now. The atmosphere in the city at night time is amazing; it has a whimsical, romantic feel about it.  I want to visit again learn a little French for the next trip.

Spot the newlyweds in the middle of some what busy Avenue des Champs-Elysees taking wedding photos, bravery or craziness. The things we do for love :D
