Topshop and Other Stories

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a nice christmas, and looking forward to the new year. Post christmas, I have been very busy, doing God knows what, I have a long list of things I think I should do before we enter the new year. I have been running around trying to finish things yet things are not getting completed, I have been so out of it I didn't even know what today's date was- Funny right,  as I only have a day I don't think it's feasible to complete all the tasks, but that's okay! "everything is going to be okay" is my latest mantra, it helps me not to be so hard on myself, cut myself some slack, those of you who are your own toughest critics, you know what I mean. 

Now onto this outfit, I had to share this look with you all, I'm absolutely in love with it, I wore it to my friends wedding. I think the only time I struggle with choosing outfits is when going to a weddings. I always wear want I want to wear without a thought of what will someone else think about it, but weddings are different, especially if you are close to the bride and or groom, while you wear something you are comfortable with you also want to make sure the bride (in my case) won't be bothered by it for whatever reason. What usually happens to me is that I would have a very detailed idea of what I want to wear, the colour, fabric and so on.. but I never find it, I will look online and offline, several shops. Aware of the prospect of this happening again, I decided not to plan or have an idea of what I want to wear, but rather be surprised. I didn't purposely go shopping when I found this outfit. I walked into Topshop on oxford street one day to peruse, my friend works nearby, so many at times I will have a look around the shop while I wait for her for after work drinks or something. I saw the skirt and immediately fell in love with it, so I looked around for a top to go with it and that was it, I had made my mind on wearing it to the wedding. The & other stories shoes I had already, which I thought would be perfect for it. I was so excited how everything came together. The wedding was amazing, I felt great in my outfit, everything was perfect. What do you guys think of the look, do you always find it difficult looking for attire for weddings?
